Computer and Communications Museum mentioned in Forbes Magazine
The Insight-based Computer and Communications Museum was featured in Forbes recently as part of an interview with legendary game developer John Romero. Romero, who along with his wife and fellow game developer Brenda Romero is based in Galway, talks about his intention to establish the Romero Museum of Game Design. The article says, "The Romeros’ vision for the Museum of Game Design ties in nicely with Galway’s position as a tech-proud city. In 2010, Galway’s Insight Centre for Data Analytics and NUI Galway founded the Computer and Communications Museum of Ireland, a not-for-profit organization that showcases Irish, global and the city’s own technological milestones, while promoting the industry to Ireland’s next generation of budding experts... it’s hoped the museum opens in late 2020, coinciding with Galway’s year-long celebration as European Capital of Culture, an honour it shares with the Croatian city of Rijeka."
