The Irish Collegiate Programming Contest is Ireland’s most prestigious computer programming competition. The event attracts the best programmers from third-level institutions across the country, with occasional entrants from international colleges such as Oxford and Nice. Each competing team is given a set of challenging problems that test their collective problem solving, numeracy and computer programming skills. In a wider context, the IrlCPC competition helps students to hone their practical programming skills, which will better prepare them for career opportunities in the future.
