Kowroo founder Dr Sheelagh Brady to join US Trade Mission

Dr Sheelagh Brady of Insight at DCU is taking her product Kowroo to the USA next week, to pitch at an exclusive AwakenHub & AwakenAngels event in Boston, hosted by British Consul General to New England, Dr Peter Abbott OBE, with Special Guest Joseph Kennedy III, Special Envoy to Northern Ireland for Economic Affairs.

Kowroo is an AI powered, personalised travel risk management application where cutting edge technology meets a commitment to safety, empowering businesses to thrive. It empowers business travellers with real-time actionable, personalised alerts and notifications direct to their phone, elevating on-the-ground experience and significantly reducing travel-related anxiety. Kowroo also provides a robust Web Platform for security managers, enabling them to support their employees effectively. This ensures both have the necessary tools to navigate the complexities of business travel with confidence.

The Trade Mission coincides with St. Brigid’s Day and the event itself will take place on the 5th of February. The 25 strong delegation will take part in a mixture of events and meetings organised by AwakenHub & AwakenAngels, St.Brigid’s Day events with the Irish Consul General Helena Nolan in New York; in addition to exclusive private events hosted by the British Consul General to New England, Dr Peter Abbott OBE, with Special Guest Joseph Kennedy III, Special Envoy to Northern Ireland for Economic Affairs; the British Consul’s Private Residence in New York and a private briefing with Irish Consul General Sighle Fitzgerald in Boston.

Guest lists will include potential investors, venture capitalists, and those with a keen commercial interest in founders from Ireland.
