Oksana Dereza of Insight at the University of Galway is involved in a transatlactic project to digitise the first Irish langauge newspaper, An Gaodhal, that was published in New York in the late 1800s. The project was featured in a recent episode of  The History Show with Myles Dungan on RTÉ.
