Dr Ciara Duignan is a digital health researcher interested in the intersection of skills to support individuals’ health, wellbeing, and lifelong personal and professional development, with a focus on how these skills can be supported through technologies. Ciara currently coordinates the FLOURISH platform research initiative in UCD and related projects, including delivering the linked student wellbeing module, and coordinating TESLAA, which seeks to develop a mobile application to support self-inquiry and goal-setting.

She takes a systems thinking and interdisciplinary approach to research for healthcare transformation as part of the Personal Sensing team, co-creating solutions with key stakeholders through engaged research methodologies. Ciara’s disciplinary background is in physiotherapy, and her complementary interests lie in data ethics, health and social care policy, and equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).
