Simon Wilson is an Professor In statistics at Trinity College Dublin. He was awarded a PhD in stochastic modeling from the George Washington University, Washington, DC, in 1993. His research interests are in applications of Bayesian methods in reliability and other fields of science and engineering, notably ecology and astronomy.
