Alison is a Research Physiotherapist who’s area of research focuses on the human factors associated with digital health technology. This ranges from exploring the usability of medical and commercial devices, exploring potential uses for digital health data in clinical practice, understanding the clinical meaningfulness of digital health measures, and engaging patients and the public with digital health research. Alison is the Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement lead for the Mobilise-D consortium, a European project looking to develop digital mobility outcomes for real-world walking in clinical populations. She has authored over 25 publications, and has strong experience working with industry and commercial partners, including consulting work.
