Dominic Lightbody is pursuing a PhD in the Embedded Systems group at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University College Cork under the supervision of Dr Emanuel Popovici and Dr Colin Murphy. His work began in January 2021 with the Insight SFI Research Centre for Data Analytics.
With the Embedded Systems group, his research focuses on Cybersecurity for the Internet of Things (IoT), specifically, the development of Intrusion Detection Artificial Intelligence for IoT devices.
