Ping Song is a Ph.D. candidate in Artificial Intelligence in Insight @ the University of Galway, working under the supervision of Prof. Edward Curry. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Automation from the Harbin Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in Data and Computational Science from University College Dublin.

Prior to joining, Ping gained valuable industry experience in the Fintech sector at AIB. With a primary research focus on Trustworthy AI, her objective is to bolster the trustworthiness of AI systems, enabling their seamless deployment in real-world scenarios. Her work has the potential to bring about significant transformation and innovation in sectors such as healthcare and finance.

Ping likes to play badminton and tennis, she also enjoys exploring nature, such as hiking.
