Postdoctoral researcher

Machine Learning & Statistics

I am a trained computer science professional with nearly seven years of computational research. Currently, I am a Postdoctoral researcher at the Data Science Institute at University of Ireland Galway. I did my PhD in Computer science from the same university, Masters in Informatics from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand and Bachelors in Informatics from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

I have experience working with Supervised, Semi-Supervised Learning, Network Analysis, Graph Neural Networks, Graph Embeddings, Survival Analysis, Bioinformatics and Medical Informatics especially of network and tabular data.

I have published papers in reputed journals like Neural Networks, Applied Soft Computing, Knowledge-Based Systems, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, Nature Scientific Reports, BMC Bioinformatics, International Journal of Medical Informatics, Computers in Biology and Medicine and Social Network Analysis and Mining. I have also published papers in conferences like American Medical Informatics Association Annual Symposium, IEEE/ACM International Conference on Advances in Social Networks, IEEE International Conference on Semantic Computing (ICSC) and Proceedings of the International Conference on Web Intelligence.
