Dr Louise Drudy joined Insight@DCU in May 2023 as a Research Integration Coordinator. She is primarily responsible for leading project management and administration across multiple research projects, working with research teams and engaging with partner institutions, centres, and industry.
Following graduating with a PhD from TCD, Dr Drudy spent several years working as a Clinical Scientist at RCSI. She was awarded an MSc in Healthcare Ethics and Law from RCSI in 2006 for her thesis entitled “Scientific Potential and Stem Cell Therapy”. Dr Drudy has also spent a number of years working in Scientific Affairs and Clinical Research Project Management for the Pharmaceutical Industry, Research Ethics Administration in UCD and National and International Grants Management at the Health Research Board Ireland. She holds a Certified Project Management Diploma (IPMA-D®) Institute of Project Management.
