Ghanshyam Verma is a Ph.D. student at Insight Centre for Data Analytics (Data Science Institute), School of Computer Science, University of Galway, Ireland. He is doing interdisciplinary research. His Ph.D. work is focused on Machine Learning algorithms that can help in improving disease diagnosis by combining data-driven Machine Learning with Knowledge Graphs.
He is also working as a Research Associate at DSI, University of Galway, Ireland. Here at DSI, he is working on two industrial projects – one is in collaboration with Fidelity Investments Ireland on Knowledge Graphs based explainable recommender system and another is in collaboration with Huawei Technologies (Ireland) Co. Ltd on Knowledge Graph based intent classification.
Ghanshyam Verma received his M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering (with specialization in Data Analytics) from LNMIIT, Jaipur, India. At LNMIIT, he developed new techniques for time series forecasting. He also holds a B.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
Research interests: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, Time Series Analysis, Knowledge Graphs, Recommender Systems.
