Duc-Duy Nguyen is an experienced researcher at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics, University of Galway. Duc-Duy has studied a wide spectrum of research in Computer Science, Cognitive Science and Data Science. Presently, his research concerns technologies and knowledge to realise Digital Humanities economically, legislatively, sustainably and responsibly. His apparent belief is that Artificial Intelligence and digitalisation should play an integral role in promoting the superstructure and the quality of life of modern citizens. Duy commenced the journey toward the mentioned belief with tools and methods in Natural Language Processing as a means to convey knowledge and wisdom via knowledge graphs and linked data. Then, Duc-Duy’s attention turned to uncertain data and insights with research in Statistical Machine learning. Most recently, Duc-Duy managed to utilise the value of IoT data via a Decentralised Data Economy.
