Dr Tadhg MacIntyre

Dr. Tadhg E. MacIntyre afPSI is a lecturer in sport, exercise and performance psychology and course director of the related Masters programs in the PESS Dept. He research interests are on topics relating to metacognition, mental health, resilience and recovery, and nature-based interventions for well-being. In 2019, he co-edited a text for Routledge entitled Physical Activity in Natural Settings: Green Exercise and Blue Mind and is a member of the Expert Advisory Board for the H2020 funded project ReNature. Recent funding includes Erasmus + www.fixthefixing.eu, Be Like an Athlete and he coordinates a new EU €10.48 project ( Go-Green Routes) on nature based solution to promote urban health and well-being across six European cities which is planned to commence in June 2020.
