I am the Strategic Research Programme Manager for Insight. As a primary operational contact for various Insight projects, including industry collaborations for both nationally and EU/US funded research awards, I manage the contract preparation and negotiation, implementation, reporting, and completion stages of grant and commercial projects. As the main representative for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) at UCD Insight, I design and deliver EDI strategies.
In my previous role as the Research Project Manager for the VistaMilk SFI Research Centre, I held this position for five years. During this time, I was responsible for the operational management of teams within Insight at UCD, DCU, and NUIG, served as the official point of contact for Insight within VistaMilk, and represented at the executive level.
I played a pivotal role in EDI initiatives, having created and co-chaired the EDI Committee. Additionally, I developed the EDI Action Plans for 2023 and 2024 and created an EDI Action Plan Toolkit.
