I am a post-doctoral researcher at the e-Governance Unit of the Insight Centre for Data Analytics, University of Galway. My expertise lies at the intersection of Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Smart Manufacturing, with a current focus on developing semantic ontologies for virtual worlds, commonly known as the metaverse. My professional journey includes a role as a Research Development Intern at Huawei Research Ireland, where I explored digital twin technology for large-scale communication networks. This experience enhanced my skills in creating dynamic, predictive models that simulate real-world processes. Additionally, as an Associate Researcher at Chonbuk National University’s Software Engineering Lab in South Korea, I specialised in Deep Learning.
