Professor Andrew Parnell’s work with a number of researchers in UCD was featured in The Irish Times on March 17th. The researchers found that extreme temperature events in Dublin have increased by 20 per cent in just eight years. The research which combined data science with mathematics, statistics and climatology was published in the journal Environmetrics. You can read the full article here.
