Insight and DCU’s Moving Well Being Well project featured in the first episode of RTE’s series Change Makers this week. The series aims to give the public a sense of the impactful research that is being done in Irish universities and Moving Well Being Well is a prime example of such research. In the programme Dr Stephen Behan, Professor Noel O’Connor and the rest of the team explain how this project has used data about Irish children’s physical literacy as a springboard towards solving the issue of physical inactivity. It’s an excellent example of tackling a societal challenge using a data enabled approach.
