Dr Georgiana Ifrim was recently appointed Dublin City lead for Women in AI. She is an Insight FI, an Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science, University College Dublin and Co-Lead of the SFI Centre for Research Training in Machine Learning (ML-Labs) and SFI Funded Investigator with the VistaMilk SFI Research Centre. She was Director of Graduate Research at the School of Computer Science, UCD, a role for which she was awarded twice the GEM School of Computer Science Award. She is a member of the Editorial Board for the Machine Learning Journal, Springer and regularly serves as guest editor and senior program committee member for AAAI, IJCAI and ECML-PKDD.
