Ali Akbar Shah Syed is a results-driven AI/ML Engineer and researcher with 9+ years of experience delivering advanced solutions across computer vision, IoT systems, digital twins, and agentic AI. He has built enterprise-grade AI tools for architectural analysis, predictive maintenance, smart infrastructure, and sustainable built environments. An award-winning innovator at national AI challenges, his expertise spans LLMs, transformer architectures, Vision-Language Models (VLMs), and full-stack AI development, with strong proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, and production-grade MLOps. Ali has authored 35+ peer-reviewed publications and contributed to major international initiatives, including EPA’s CIRCLE, BIOMED 5.0, Research Ireland–funded Digital Building Logbooks for Sustainable Communities, GetInnovative4Impact, Circular B, CBHE funded CENTRAL Project, UIC’s Harmotrack, and UNDP’s Coping with Corona.
