My current research interests are suggestion mining, information extraction from opinionated text, and statistical Natural Language Processing in general. In parallel to my PhD research, I have also contributed to the European Projects like EuroSentiment, and MixedEmotions. I am also actively involved in academic activities like peer reviewing for conferences, and teaching at NUIG.
I completed my four year B.Tech degree in Computer Science from College of Technology, Pantnagar, India, in 2010. Thereafter, I worked in Tata Consultancy Services, India, as a software engineer. I am an alumna of the European Masters program, Erasmus Mundus Masters in Language and Communication Technologies. I obtained my dual MSc. degree from University of Lorraine, France (2011/12) and University of Malta, Malta (2012/13). My Masters thesis was titled as Using Distributional knowledge in Sentiment Analysis.
