I am a researcher in explainable AI systems. My main focus is on making opaque black box systems transparent and easily interpretable to humans. 

In particular, I am focusing on using case-based reasoning (CBR) to offer explanaitons for artificial neural networks (shallow and deep models). 

Other work I am doing is with the Irish agricultrure section to make dairy farming more sustainable and profitable for the country. Work in this area has used Bayesian analysis to adapt to climate change and offer accurate predictions for grass growth with CBR explanaitons.
