Alokkumar Jha bachelor of engineering in Electronics and communication and Master's in Medical Software majorly worked in the area of Computational biology where I have worked on various problem areas related to cancer research. I have focused my research area on Next-generation sequencing data analysis majorly (RNA seq, ChIP seq, and Exome sequencing) and Clinical Genomics Visualization, Systems biology.
I have completed master's thesis titled "Interactive visualization of Next Generation sequencing cancer data" with Tata Memorial Hospital (ACTREC)-SAP Labs joint project.
I have also worked on Low coverage Exome data algorithms, and population genomics, genetic linkage analysis with the University of California genome center and also handled the project. At ACTREC-Tata cancer Hospital on novel PPI algorithms, Protein databases and merging them for optimized annotation and using graph theory, Machine learning, and social networks to understand normal and cancer networks on microarray data. Focused on systems biology area apart from that I am also involved in RNA seq and ChIP seq pre sequencing consultation and sequenced data analysis and innovative approach development.
I have also worked with GVK biosciences in the areas of Drug repurposing where Drug-Target (Gene/Protein)-Disease relation, Gene set Enrichment analysis, pathways and biological data mining.
I have industrial working experience with software companies like Wipro Technology, Accenture, and SAP Labs.
