Dr. Mohammad Amine Togou

Postdoctoral Researcher

Dr. Togou is a postdoctoral researcher with the Performance Engineering Laboratory at Dublin City University, Ireland. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science and computer networks from Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco and a Ph.D. degree in computer science from the University of Montreal, Canada. Originally trained as a software engineer, his research for the past 7 years has focused on developing advanced expertise in performance optimisation, protocol design, and network security.

During his thesis training, he focused on enhancing the quality of service of time-sensitive infotainment applications in the context of connected vehicles. His postdoctoral training expanded these interests to include studies of scalability and resiliency in cloud computing along with blockchain-enabled solutions for next generation networks (5G/6G). He has published 25+ peer-reviewed scientific articles in top journals and flagship conferences. He has also been a member of the technical programme committee of several international conferences and he has been mentoring PhD and Master students for the past 2 years.

Research Interests: Wireless networks, SDN-NFV, Network Slicing, Blockchain, IoT, Cloud Computing and Machine Learning.
