Chi-Hung is currently working as a Software Developer on the i3-Market project, which is an EU funded project, to develop novel solutions for trustworthy (secure and reliable), data-driven collaboration and federation of existing and new future marketplace platforms, with special attention on industrial data and particularly on sensitive commercial data assets. This €6.6 million project is led by NUI Galway in cooperation with 13 other companies and universities within Europe. Details of the i3-Market project can be found at https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/871754
Chi-Hung holds a PhD in applied engineering with industrial and academic experience including working with sensors and data analytics for experimental tests, development of numerical simulation models, data analytics for medical device manufacturing, and project management. He is currently completing a MSc in Software Engineering with NUI Galway, researching aspects of Machine Learning for Soccer outcome prediction. Before joining the UIoT Unit at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics, he contributed for over four years to research on a few projects within the Sustainable and Resilient Structures Research Group (www.nuigalway.ie/structures), which is led by Prof. Jamie Goggins at NUI Galway.
