I am a PhD student in the UIMR (Unit for Information Mining and Retrieval) at NUIG. My research focuses on the behaviour of users of online forums. In particular I am researching ways to summarize forums, discover typical patterns of user evolution and predict user evolution. I received my bachelors in Digital and Software Systems Engineering from GMIT before joining industry as a software engineering. In 2013 I returned to academia to receive an MSc in Advanced Software Engineering from UCD. In 2015 I received the Hardiman scholarship from NUIG to pursue my PhD.


I am also an active member of CoderDojo Galway City helping to teach beginners Scratch and AppInventor to primary and second level students.
