Keith Griffin joined Cisco in 2007 and is a Principal Engineer in Cisco's Office of CTO, Collaboration Technology Group. He has over twenty years experience in the enterprise collaboration industry and is based in Galway Ireland where he leads Metrics, Analytics and Data Science for Collaboration with a specific focus on Machine Learning and AI for Cognitive Collaboration. Keith also leads Cisco’s Collaboration IP, patent and research strategy and works on the technical direction for web browser based collaboration clients. He works closely with customers, partners and analysts to ensure that technology direction is aligned with market needs. Keith continues to work on research projects in the collaboration technology space and is is currently co-authoring a W3C draft to standardize screen sharing in WebRTC.
Keith holds a PhD from the University of Limerick in Ireland related to the use of Representational State Transfer (REST) programmable interface design for Communications Integration in web browsers.
