The Insight Student Conference: winners announced
The annual Insight Student Conference 2017 was a great success.
Hosted by Insight@UCC, the event was an excellent opportunity for people across the organisation to learn about what our early stage researchers are doing. Insight members came from all over the country to present and discuss their research.
The day kicked off with cyberpsychologist Nicola Fox Hamilton's keynote address about the people behind the data.
Over the course of the day, early stage researchers delivered presentations about their research and participated in poster sessions.
There were three presentation sessions in all and a prize giving ceremony at the end of the day. Prizes were sponsored by Xanadu.
Martin O'Reilly won best presentation.
Tadhg Fitzgerald also won best presentation.
Keana De Guzman won best poster.
Siobhán Grayson also won best poster.
The event went incredibly well. Pictured left is the organising committee with cyberpsychologist Nicola Fox Hamilton and Barry O'Sullivan. (L-R Ade Fajemisin, Begum Genc, Anne-Marie George, Nicola Fox Hamilton, Barry O'Sullivan and Daniel Desmond).
Well done to all involved.
