BDVA, the Big Data Value Association and euRobotics, the European Robotics Association, have released a common vision paper on the AI partnership they are jointly developing. This AI Public Private Partnership (AI PPP) is directed at boosting the industrial uptake of AI and ensuring Europe’s world-wide leadership in developing and deploying value-driven trustworthy AI based on European fundamental values.

Insight's Nick Grattan spoke to Irish Tech News's AI in Action podcast last week.
Grattan is undertaking a part-time PhD at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics at University College Cork. His research estimates and verifies document and content version histories, and tracks content moved from one location to another based on common structures within and between the documents.

Insight's Lukasz Porwol was invited to the Mendeley/Elsevier headquarters in London a few weeks ago. While there, he presented his research and held meetings with a number of executives. He was also interviewed about virtual reality and its potential as it relates to education and communication. In the piece he discussed the potential of VR for use in meetings and learning situations, the ethics of VR and his own experiences.
